Cookies are small pieces of data a site stores in your browser. This page lists every cookie Nichable sets and why. For how we handle your personal information more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.

Nichable itself sets only these two kinds of cookies, both first-party:

• Sign-in (essential). A small set of cookies set when you log in. They keep you signed in and your account secure as you move between pages. Without it, you'd have to log in again on every page load — there's no way to opt out of this one without also opting out of having an account.
• Shared-list referral (functional). Set only if you open a link someone shared to one of their saved lists. It remembers which list you came from for up to 7 days, so if you sign up afterward, that list gets added to your new account automatically. It carries no advertising or tracking purpose and expires on its own.

We also keep a few preferences in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them between visits — such as your light/dark theme, listings you recently viewed or picked to compare, and notices you've dismissed. They stay on your device, and clearing your browser's site data removes them.

Nichable shows ads served by Google AdSense, and we ask Google to show only non-personalized ads, which aren't based on your browsing elsewhere. Google may still set or read cookies (or similar technologies) to limit how often you see an ad, prevent fraud, and measure ads in aggregate. See how Google uses cookies in advertising.

No Google Analytics, no Meta/Facebook pixel, no ad-retargeting cookies, no personalized ads. If that ever changes, we'll update this page and, where required, ask first.

Your browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking the sign-in cookies will sign you out and prevent signing back in. Blocking the referral cookie has no effect beyond that one sign-up-flow feature, and blocking Google's ad cookies doesn't affect anything else on the site.

We may update this page if the cookies we set change. If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date below.
