About
A NYC intergenerational internship where high school students build friendships with older adults through home visits, intergenerational chess, and other activities. The selective four-week summer internship offers 100+ service hours; an academic-year internship runs one afternoon a week during the school year.
Who can apply
Students in grades 9–12.
Open to high school students in grades 9-12 (the summer program is for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors). Activities take place with older adults on Manhattan's Upper West and Upper East Sides (and in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn).
