About
A free, three-year college-access program run by Pomona College's Draper Center. Scholars join as rising sophomores and return each summer for an intensive four-week residential program of college-level courses, workshops, and field trips, plus year-round support, aimed at students who are first in their family to attend college or from low-income families. Pomona covers all costs.
Who can apply
Students in grades 9–11.
Open to rising sophomores through rising seniors (students apply as current 9th graders) who live or attend high school in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, or Ventura County and are first-generation and/or from low-income families. Free: Pomona covers housing, food, activities, and transportation.
