A paid summer job for teens with The Food Project in eastern Massachusetts. For six and a half weeks, youth crews work alongside staff on urban and suburban farms in Lincoln, Boston, and the North Shore -- growing vegetables and distributing thousands of pounds of produce while building leadership, teamwork, and civic-participation skills.
Open to youth ages 14-17 (14 by June 1, having completed 8th grade by July 1) who can commit to the full six-and-a-half-week summer crew. A completed application with a recommendation is required. Sites in Lincoln, Boston, and the North Shore.
