A free, five-week summer biomedical research and data science internship run by the LEAH Project with MIT and Health Resources in Action. Scholars gain hands-on lab experience and mentorship from STEM professionals in the Greater Boston area, and earn a stipend; many second-year scholars go on to paid lab internships.
Open to BIPOC public school students entering grades 11–12 in the Greater Boston area, at least 16 years old, who have completed a high school biology class. Free to participate; scholars earn a stipend.
