A paid 6-7 week summer research internship pairing Central Valley high school juniors (entering their senior year) with UCSF Fresno faculty on active biomedical research projects. Interns gain hands-on lab experience along with field trips and healthcare-facility tours introducing them to biomedical careers.
Open to high school juniors entering their senior year from Fresno, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, and Tulare counties. Selected on academic merit, a questionnaire, and teacher recommendations. No cost to participate; stipends and transportation scholarships may be available.
