About
An annual, nationally-administered German exam (levels 1-4) recognized by AATG. Top scorers earn certificates, medals, and scholarship eligibility. Registration is handled through your German teacher, not directly by students. Cost: $8 per exam, registered through a teacher.
Who can apply
Students in grades 9–12.
Open to students studying German at any level. Ask your German teacher to register your class -- registration is done by the teacher, not the individual student. Levels 2-4 regular registration deadline January 27, 2027 ($8/student); Level 1 registers separately starting February 1, 2027.
